This agreement covers the terms under which you are allowed to use this site. Friends of the Daily treatment of personally identifiable information collected when you are on our site, and when you use Friends of the Daily services.

Information Collection and Use

The Friends of the Daily collects personally identifiable information when you register for a Friends of the Daily account, when you use certain Friends of the Daily services and when you visit Friends of the Daily pages.

When you register with Friends of the Daily, we ask for your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you register with Friends of the Daily and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. You are not anonymous to other registered Stanford Daily alumni. However, your information is not accessible to the general public.

The Friends of the Daily uses information to contact you about Stanford Daily-related events and to provide alumni with with up-to-date contact information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

The Friends of the Daily will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

The Friends of the Daily may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people in response to subpoenas, court orders or legal process. Obviously, we do not antipicate this being necessary.

Cookies

The Friends of the Daily may set and access Friends cookies on your computer. The cookies are used to ensure you are a verified Stanford Daily alum and are not used for other purposes.

Member agreement: Registered users of the Friends of the Daily site may not use the contact information contained here except to keep in touch with a friend, a possible job contact or a professional associate. In no case may registered members be contacted en masse without the express written permission of the Friends of the Stanford Daily.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

The Friends of the Daily gives you the ability to edit your account information and preferences at any time.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Friends of the Daily may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.
